Our methods to obtain food are simply unsustainable and impossible to scale up in a future, with a human population ever growing. The Basque Culinary Center has a new Strategic Plan for Sustainable Development 2020-2024, and one main idea is to rethink gastronomy.

Too Good To Go has helped saving more than 50 million meals globally and dreams of a planet without food waste. We have spoken to the Press Officer and Waste Warrior of their Spanish market, Carlos García.

 People recognize the significance of the computer revolution that shaped our informational reality. Some futurists argue that we are currently in the stage of artificial intelligence and the internet of things revolution.

That all might be true, but what kind of revolution do you think is coming next?

The food sector accounts for around 22 percent of total greenhouse gas emissions, largely from the conversion of forests into farmland.

Globally, 2 billion people are overweight or obese.

Only 3 percent of the world’s water is fresh (drinkable), and humans are using it faster than nature can replenish it.
